Program Associate, Community Support

Bio

Andi grew up in Wilmington, NC, and attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington to pursue a career in medicine. Along the way, he began exploring new experiences and perspectives which helped redirect his interests towards supporting students in higher education. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2019, Andi took a gap year before attending NC State University to obtain a Master of Education in College Counseling and Student Development. During his time at NC State from 2021–2023, Andi worked in the Career Development Center as the Career Ambassador Coordinator, a graduate assistantship role that further refined his interests in program management and student leadership development. Following his graduation in 2023, Andi joined the Career Services department at Wake Technical Community College as a Career Coach. After serving in this role for one year, Andi returned to NC State in August of 2024 as the Program Associate of Community Support in the newly created Resiliency and Community Support unit.

In his role as Program Associate of Community Support, Andi supports all aspects of Resiliency and Community Support. Andi primarily works with the Wolfpack Pick Up program, the Absence Verification Process, Packapalooza™ registration, and the unit’s finances and contracts. Andi’s work focuses on connecting students with resources and creating a sense of belonging at NC State while supporting administrative processes and managing business operations within Resiliency and Community Support. You can often find Andi in his office in Talley 4111 or behind the wheel of a golf cart.
