What is Pack2Go!?

The Office of Student Life and Advocacy is proud to support Pack2Go!, a new partnership between the Food Recovery Network and Rave! Catering.

Pack2Go! was created to deliver surplus food from catered campus events to students. When there is leftover food, Rave! Catering will send out an email notification to a dedicated Google Group with all of the details: location, availability times, serving sizes, and the food being offered.

How to Sign Up

Signing up for alerts is easy:

  • Head over to the Pack2Go! website
  • Make sure you are signed in using your NC State email address
  • Click “Join Group”
  • Make sure the “Subscription” option is set to “Each email”

Keep on the lookout for an email to grab free food!

What to Know

Once you have signed up for notification, keep a lookout for an email to grab free food! Make sure you bring your own Tupperware containers to pack your food (2go!).

NOTE: By participating in Pack2Go! by Food Recovery Network, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks associated with consuming leftover, donated food, including (but not limited to) possible cross-contamination, the presence of common allergens, and the risk of food-borne illness.
